IM Global is back in business with Marlon Wayans and Rick Alvarez on the spoof comedy “Fifty Shades of Black,” it was announced Thursday by IM Global founder and CEO Stuart Ford.

Also rejoining the long-term creators and collaborators of the successful Haunted House franchise is director Mike Tiddes. Wayans and Alvarez are once again onboard as writers and producers, with Ford, IM Global’s production president Matt Jackson and SVP of production Glendon Palmer executive producing.

IM Global is fully financing “Fifty Shades” and will announce additional casting shortly, as production will begin imminently. Crossing new lines and breaking old barriers, “Black” will be released in early 2016.

“We’re excited to pair up once again with Marlon, Rick and Mike on ‘Fifty Shades of Black,’ and we look forward to together creating another wholesome slice of entertainment for all the family,” Ford said.

“We’re excited to be back in business with IM Global doing our comedic remix of this movie. Sex and comedy go hand-in-hand, and I’m looking forward to having fun with this project. It’s amazing when a film of this caliber comes along begging to be made fun of. I’m really happy to be doing what I love with people I love to do it with. That double entendre was intentional,” Wayans added.
