Former Beatle George Harrison gets the Scorsese treatment on Oct. 5, when Martin Scorsese's documentary "Living in the Material World" hits HBO for a two-night premiere (the 3 1/2-hour presentation will wrap up on Oct. 6).
In the documentary, Scorsese — who, in recent years, has turned his directorial talents toward documenting such musical talents as Bob Dylan and the Rolling Stones — will tell Harrison's story via archival footage and interviews with such close Harrison associates as Eric Clapton, Paul McCartney and Tom Petty.
