Christmas is getting crowded.
Mary J. Blige is set to perform on CBS’s new one-hour “A Very Grammy Christmas” special, which will be hosted by LL Cool J, and include performances of holiday songs and current pop hits, as well as artists sharing their favorite holiday and Grammy memories.
Previously announced performers include Ariana Grande, Maroon 5, Tim McGraw and Pharrell Williams. Additional performers will be announced shortly.
In addition to performances, the nominations for Album of the Year for The 57th Annual Grammy Awards will be announced during “A Very Grammy Christmas.” All other nominations — 82 of 83 categories — will be revealed earlier that morning, on Dec. 5.
“A Very Grammy Christmas” is produced by AEG Ehrlich Ventures, LLC. Ken Ehrlich is the executive producer.
“A Very Grammy Christmas” will air Dec. 5 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CBS. The special will film on Nov. 18 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
