FX has released the trailer for season 2 of “Mayans M.C.,” and things are getting real for the Motorcycle Club as EZ and Angel search for the truth behind their mother’s death.
The next chapter of Kurt Sutter’s “Sons of Anarchy” franchise, “Mayans M.C.” is a crime drama set in a post-Jax Teller world, in which Ezekiel “EZ” Reyes (JD Pardo) is a prospect in the Mayans M.C. charter in the California-Mexico border town of Santo Padre.
This season, EZ and his brother Angel (Clayton Cardenas) struggle to reconcile — but then EZ drops a bomb:
“It’s about mom,” he says. “I know who killed her.”
Meanwhile, their father Felipe (Edward James Olmos) tries to lead his sons down a righteous path.
As the world of the civilized and the outlaws collide, Johnny “Coco” Cruz pretty much says it all: “Ain’t no fun if it can’t kill you.”
The series also stars Sarah Bolger, Michael Irby, Carla Baratta, Antonio Jaramillo, Raoul Max Trujillo, Richard Cabral, Danny Pino and Emilio Rivera.
Kurt Sutter and Elgin James co-created the series, which is executive produced by Sutter, James and Kevin Dowling. The 10-episode second season is produced by Fox 21 Television Studios and FX Productions. The series debuted in 2018.
“Mayans M.C.” Season 2 premieres September 3 on FX.
