Jimmy Kimmel’s ‘Mean Tweets’ Take Country Stars Down a Peg on CMAs Night (Video)

“The Zac Brown Band is on three radio stations at the same time… as you can imagine, this is the worst day of my life,” reads one

Wednesday’s CMAs had some country music artists feeling good about themselves. Jimmy Kimmel took care of that hubris immediately afterward.

The ABC late-night show’s “Mean Tweets – Country Music Edition #3” contained some pure Twitter gold, as read to-camera by the targeted singers and musicians. The annual segment started with this one: “The Zac Brown Band is on three radio stations at the same time… as you can imagine, this is the worst day of my life.”

As you can imagine, TheWrap had to fix some of this grammar and spelling for readability. Check some more of the insults below.

“When Cassadee Pope goes to the bathroom, her name is Cassadee Poop,” read another.

“I want to throw Blake Shelton off a highway overpass by his legs and watch him get obliterated by a Peterbilt pulling a big, stupid house,” the mentor from NBC’s “The Voice” choked down.

And here’s a good quickie: “If you grow a beard like Luke Combs, don’t grow a beard.”

They only get harsher from there. Watch the video above.
