Will “How I Met Your Mother” go out with a giant nudie-fest?
Most likely not, but that’s one of the faux scenarios that the cast of the CBS sitcom offers on Monday night’s episode of “Late Show With David Letterman.”

“HIMYM” stars Neil Patrick Harris, Alyson Hannigan, Josh Radnor, Cobie Smulders and Jason Segel appear on Monday’s “Late Show” to deliver the night’s Top Ten list, “Top Ten Surprises in the Final Episode of ‘How I Met Your Mother.’” And while the list is certainly devoid of any spoilers, it does provide a few laughs.
Such as Smulders’ bogus reveal for the finale, which airs March 31: “For some reason, we’re all naked.”

Smulders’ co-star Josh Radnor, who plays Ted on the series, drops another pretend development.
“Someone finally points out that I don’t sound like Bob Saget,” Radnor offers, a reference to Saget’s series narration as Ted in the future.
