Paramount is distributing the action film, which stars John Krasinski, James Badge Dale and Pablo Schreiber

Paramount has released the first trailer for Michael Bay’s action movie “13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi,” which stars John Krasinski and James Badge Dale.

The film co-stars Pablo Schreiber, Max Martini, David Denman, Dominic Fumusa and Toby Stephens.

Erwin Stoff produced “13 Hours,” which Chuck Hogan adapted from the book by Mitchell Zuckoff.

“13 Hours” will open on Jan. 15 against the Ice Cube-Kevin Hart comedy “Ride Along 2,” Chloe Moretz’s YA sci-fi movie “The 5th Wave” and the animated sequel “The Nut Job 2.”

Watch the trailer below and let us know if you think “13 Hours” looks more promising that Bay’s “Transformers” movies, which of course earned him the right to go make this film for the same studio.
