Miley Cyrus took to Instagram to preach about women tearing each other down instead of supporting each other in light of International Women’s Day, and while she doesn’t mention anyone’s name, many believe her post is in regards to Kim Kardashian‘s twitter feud with Chloe Grace Moretz and Bette Midler.
“Dear women, you ALL are acting tacky AF!” Cyrus posted on Instagram on Tuesday, along with a photo of Kardashian’s butt kimoji. “Why don’t we overly (myself included) fortunate women come together and try to create and bring jobs to other women in desperate need of them so they can support not only THEMSELVES but their families!”
On Monday, Kardashian posted a nude selfie with the caption, “When you’re like I have nothing to wear LOL.” Moretz and Midler took to Twitter to share their opinion of the reality star’s photo.
“I truly hope you realize how important setting goals are for young women, teaching them we have so much more to offer than … just their bodies,” Moretz wrote.
“Kim Kardashian tweeted a nude selfie today,” Midler said. “If Kim wants us to see a part of her we’ve never seen, she’s gonna have to swallow the camera.”
Kardashian threw back the shade, tweeting at Moretz, “Let’s all welcome @ChloeGMoretz to twitter, since no one knows who she is. your nylon cover is cute boo.“
She also didn’t shy away from attacking Midler: “hey @BetteMidler I really didn’t want to bring up how you sent me a gift awhile back trying to be a fake friend then come at me#dejavu.”
Cyrus, who has been under fire in recent days for posting a picture of “Fuller House” star Jodie Sweetin from her past in which she is seen straddling a man, is asking women to work together and “celebrate one another.”
“#happyinternationalwomensday can we all put the c-ntiness aside for one f-cking day and love / celebrate one another! PS no matter how hard you (or myself) work NEVER will I feel I am worthy of the comfort I live in….,” she added. “Because so many others while I tuck myself in at night are laying their head on the pavement, dreaming of all the things we take for granted every day. Much love to all my women!!!!”
