Mindy Kaling Drops Jokes – and a Little Knowledge – on Harvard Law School Grads (Video)

Star of Fox’s “The Mindy Project” alternated between making fun of and hitting on the “nerds” in the crowd at Wednesday’s 2014 Class Day

Mindy Kaling dropped plenty of punchlines — and some sagely advice — on the 2014 Harvard Law School graduating class Wednesday.

The 2001 Dartmouth College grad and TV star spent much of her podium time quipping about how uniquely unqualified she is to address the students at their Class Day. Beyond the self-deprecation, she also ribbed the “nerds” in the crowd incessantly.

“In my mind, law is the pesky thing that often gets in the way of justice,” was among one of the many semi-insults “The Mindy Project” star dropped along the way of getting to her larger point.

Even asparagus wasn’t safe from her humorous tirades. (That’ll make more sense in the below clip.)

Eventually Kaling offered some real advice, and it was solid. She also read the departing students their Miranda Rights and continuously dropped law professor Noah Feldman’s name in a random, flirtatious manner.
