An intruder was shot and a security guard was stabbed during an altercation at Miranda Kerr’s Malibu mansion Friday, the LA County Sheriffs Lost Hills Malibu Station told TheWrap.
The Victoria’s Secret model was not home at the time.
An on-site security guard confronted an intruder who had hopped the fence at Kerr’s home. The guard was stabbed, and responded by shooting the intruder.
Both parties were airlifted to a local hospital where both were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. No word yet on what, if any, charges will be filed.
Reps for Kerr did not immediately respond to requests from TheWrap for comment.
Kerr is a model who’s best known for her time as a Victoria’s Secret angel, becoming the first Australian model to join the linup and replacing Gisele Bundchen.
She is also known for being married to actor Orlando Bloom. The couple had one son before divorcing in 2013. She recently became engaged to Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel.
This is not the first time Kerr’s home has been the scene of a crime. In 2009, while Kerr was dating Bloom, the teenage Beverly Hills gang the Bling Ring broke into Bloom’s house, where they stole jewelry and clothing from the couple.
