Monday Ratings: ‘House’ Leads Fox Win

Medical show spikes 17%; ABC’s “Dancing” yield’s spring low

“House” saw its key demo performance spike 17 percent, helping Fox win the Monday-night ratings race in the key adult demo.

The whittling down of contestants on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars,” meanwhile, has continued to take its toll, with the show delivering its lowest numbers of the spring.

Here are Monday’s ratings highlights … and lowlights:

DANCE THE DEMO AWAY: Scoring a 4.0 rating/11 share in adults 18-49, “Dancing with the Stars” has declined 38 percent from its premiere. New ABC comedy “Romantically Challenged,” meanwhile, delivered its lowest adult demo rating yet (2.1/5), off 19 percent from its season average.

HOUSE THE ROCK: “House” led the 8 o’clock hour with a 4.2/12, leading into “24,” which drew a very undramatic, third-place 3.0/8 for Jack Bauer’s penultimate episode.
