‘Morning Joe’ Mocks Roger Stone for Twitter Suspension: ‘I Think He Was Under the Influence’

Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski both land shots in the first hour of “Morning Joe”

On Monday’s “Morning Joe,” Joe, Mika and the rest of the gang couldn’t resist some taking a moment for some brutal mocking of Roger Stone.

The longtime Trump confidant was banned from Twitter Saturday after a profanity-laced tirade against Don Lemon and various other CNN personalities. He has threatened to sue Twitter over his ouster.

“Oh, Roger Stone,” co-host Mika Brzezinski said. “He had some sort of — I think he was under the influence or something — he went off.”

Moments earlier, Joe Scarborough declined to say his name and referred to him only as “the crazy guy in south Florida who got kicked off of Twitter.”

Show regular Clint Watts got in a jab too.

“Melted down in unison across multiple Twitter platforms,” he said. “It is POTUS Mad Libs. I didn’t do it, they did it. Look at this. It’s a witch-hunt.”

It’s unclear whether Watts has ever played Mad Libs.

Eventually, BBC host Katty Kay, another show mainstay, moved things back on track.
