A new trailer for the upcoming young adult novel adaptation, "City of Bones: The Mortal Instruments," teases the inclusion of just about everything that goes bump in the night.
"Everything you've heard about monsters, about nightmares, legends whispered around campfires — all the stories are true," says Jared Harris, who plays cursed supernatural archivist Hodge Starkweather.

The film follows Lily Collins as Clary Fray, who discovers she is the descendant of a line of Shadowhunters, a secret cadre of young half-angel warriors locked in an ancient battle to protect our world from demons.
And not just demons. Werewolves, warlocks, vampires and smoke monster things are seen chasing down Clary and her hunky human-angel hybrid love interest, Jace (Jamie Campbell Bower), as they fight through a dangerous alternate New York called Downworld to find Clary's kidnapped mother (Lena Headey).
