MTV has pimped out its Moonman for the 2015 Video Music Awards.

On Monday, the network unveiled world-renowned fashion designer Jeremy Scott’s colorful redesign of the award MTV has been handing out to popular artists since 1984.

The updated award now features rainbow colors as well as a peace sign hanging from the signature spaceman’s neck.

The goal, according to MTV, was to encapsulate the true essence of both the fashion designer and the network.

“From the distinct color of the TV color bars, to the peace sign necklace, to Jeremy’s signature sneakers, the redesign of statue is part of MTV’s long-standing history of bridging the gap between the world of fashion and music,” the network wrote when announcing the new Moonman making his debut at the VMAs on Aug. 30.

Miley Cyrus, who made a controversial splash at the same awards show two years ago, will host.
