They say when you’re about to perform in front of a big crowd to imagine the audience naked.
But Oscar host Neil Patrick Harris found another way to calm his nerves.

Harris showed off a buff bod as he walked on stage wearing nothing but tighty-whities and black shoes, a nod to this year’s best picture nominee, “Birdman.”

As the show returned from a commercial break, NPH was nowhere to be found.
The cameraman found Harris backstage, locked out of his dressing room with his robe stuck in in the door.
The bit then had the camera follow Harris as he walked on stage in his skivvies as he introduced presenters Miles Teller and Margot Robbie .
