New ‘Survivor’ Castaways Include Ex-NBA All-Star, Miami Marlins President

New season kicks off Feb. 26

The 18 castaways for the new season of “Survivor” were announced by CBS on Wednesday, including former NBA All-Star Cliff Robinson and Miami Marlins president David Samson.

The next batch of competitors on the long-running reality show also includes Jefra Bland, who prior to entering the reality TV arena had attained the esteemed title of Miss Kentucky Teen USA.

The upcoming 28th season of “Survivor,” which takes place in the Cagayan province of the Philippines, is themed “Brawn vs. Brains vs. Beauty,” with contestants broken into tribes accordingly. In case you hadn’t already figured it out, Bland is included among the Beauty tribe.
