Nicki Minaj‘s generosity extends far past U.S. borders — where earlier this month she offered to pay off student loans for a dozen of her Twitter followers — all the way to an
entire needy village in India.

The “Regret in Your Tears” singer took to social media Saturday to share what she calls “the kind of thing that makes me feel the most proud.” She’s speaking of an unnamed village in India that she’s been donating money to for years that not only has financed a computer center and reading program, it also built two water wells.

“This is the kind of thing that makes me feel the most proud,” she wrote and attached to a video on Instagram. “The money I’ve sent to this village in India for the last couple years [via my Pastor Lydia Sloley], has gotten them a Computer Center, a Tailoring Institute, a Reading Program and 2 WATER WELLS. We complain about the most ridiculous little things when some ppl don’t even have clean water. Blessings to India. Our work is far from done. I’ll tell you guys more about my charity work in the near future in case you’d like to be a part of it. Love.”

She also shared a photo of a school room, writing, “I’m so proud of our sisters in India. God is so good. Their desire was to have water wells & places where they can worship, places where they can learn technology, computers, reading, etc. We’re just getting started. These women are us and we are them!”

Minaj is making a big difference in lots of lives these days. Earlier this month one of her Twitter followers asked if the rapper would pay her college tuition. Minaj responded in the affirmative… and then kicked up her kindness by tweeting, “Show me straight A’s that I can verify w/ur school and I’ll pay it. Who wants to join THAT contest?!?! Dead serious. Shld I set it up?”

And she did. NBC reports that she paid off the $500 balance of a single mom’s tuition and agreed to cover a full semester (including room and board) of another fan.
