Nielsen Names Anne-Taylor Adams SVP, Global Communications

Executive will report to Laura Nelson, the company’s chief communications officer

Nielsen has named Anne-Taylor Adams the company’s new senior vice president, global communications.

The company’s Chief Communications Officer Laura Nelson, to whom Adams will report in her new role, made the announcement Tuesday.

In her new role, Adams will assume responsibility for all reputation and issues management, senior executive engagement, industry relations and global events for the company.

“Anne-Taylor is an astute and strategic thinker with a proven track record of delivering results in campaigns that amplify the core values, objectives and DNA of the Nielsen brand around the globe,” said Nelson. “She has been an incredible asset for our company and I am thrilled to have her on my leadership team.”

Adams most recently served as head of marketing and communications for Nielsen Latin America. She also served in a strategic advisory role with Nielsen in Africa while based in Johannesburg, South Africa, after joining the company in 2012 as vice president.

Prior to Nielsen, Adams served as director of corporate communications for AppNexus Inc. and held several strategic communications roles with Sirius XM Radio after starting her career in Washington D.C. with the Consumer Electronics Association, a tech policy advocacy and trade association.
