The #Breewatch is over and “Outlander” has cast newcomer Sophie Skelton for the role of Brianna, Starz announced Thursday.

Brianna is described as a striking, redheaded young lady, and the daughter of the lead characters Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan). Strong-minded and intelligent beyond her years (traits inherited from both her mother and father), Brianna has a distinctly scholastic mind-set and a healthy dose of Fraser stubbornness.

Skelton joins previously announced Richard Rankin who will play Roger Wakefiled. Rankin will play the adult version of Reverend Wakefield’s son, who viewers met previously.

Skelton’s previous TV roles include “Doctors,” “DCI Banks,” “Waterloo Road” and “Foyle’s War.”

“Outlander” returns for Season 2 in April 2016 on Starz.
