Paradigm Bolsters Music Division By Acquiring 50% of UK-Based Agency of Bon Iver, Ellie Goulding

CODA is a London-based firm that Paradigm has worked with for years

Paradigm strengthened its already stellar music division by acquiring a 50 percent stake in CODA, a London-based agency with clients including The XX, Bon Iver and Ellie Goulding. The deal enables Paradigm to offer existing clients like Coldplay and Aerosmith representation in Europe and Asia while Coda clients now gain representation in the North American and South American markets.

As Hollywood talent agencies have attempted to expand beyond traditional film and television representation, music has been one of the largest growth areas. Paradigm boasts one of the top music divisions in the industry, which it assembled by acquiring several top independent agencies over the past decade.

One of its biggest deals was acquiring a 50 percent stake in AM Only, an EDM-focused agency with clients like Skrillex and Tiesto.

“We have been working closely and successfully with CODA for many years and share common values and a deep commitment to artist development,” Marty Diamond, head of Paradigm’s East Coast Music Division, said in a statement. “This new partnership is the next logical step as we continue to carefully grow our Music Division with the artist’s interests always at the forefront of our planning.”
