Amy Poehler is doing a little cross-dressing karaoke on Thursday’s “Parks and Recreation,” in Leslie Knope’s latest attempt to win over nemesis Councilman Jamm.
The two sing “Summer Lovin’” from “Grease,” just with role — and jacket — reversals. Jamm (Jon Glaser) rocks the Pink Ladies jacket and sings Olivia Newton-John’s (“Sandy Olsen”) part of the famous song. Knope dons the classic leather T-birds jacket as she does her best Danny Zuko (John Travolta).

The standout performer in the three-minute, 41-second preview clip, Chris Traeger (Rob Lowe), wasn’t even on stage at Belters’ Karaoke. The perennial optimist was essentially the sole audience member — unless you count the confused sushi chef and a few drunk locals. But in typical Traeger fashion, he was earnestly into it: drumming, gesturing and singing along.
It was — literally — the greatest singalong he’s ever seen.
The one-hour “Parks and Recreation” kicks off tonight at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
