Paul Greengrass and Scott Rudin to Make Martin Luther King Movie

‘Memphis,’ a Universal project, is one of several Martin Luther King-themed movies now under way

Director Paul Greengrass and Producer Scott Rudin are making "Memphis," a drama about the 1968 assassination of Martin Luther King, TheWrap has confirmed.

Greengrass also wrote the script.

Greengrass and Rudin's movie is one of several King-related projects currently under way.

The project brings Greengrass back to Universal Pictures. He directed the Studio's "Green Zone" in 2010, "The Bourne Ultimatum" in 2007, "United 93" in 2006 and "The Bourne Supremacy" in 2004.
