‘Pete’s Dragon’ Trailer: Flying Lizard Swoops In to Save Disney’s Day (Video)

It’s not “The Jungle Book.” This one has a dragon instead.

Bryce Dallas Howard and Robert Redford aren’t buying this whole dragon story you’re selling, Oakes Fegley.

On Sunday, Disney dropped the U.S. teaser trailer for Summer 2016 fantasy film, “Pete’s Dragon.” In the video, Pete (Fegley) does some climbing, hiding, and a lot of running — and all those carry over to when he finally finds civilization. Meanwhile, Grace (Howard) and her dad (Redford), merely offer a bunch of skepticism.

At the (barbed) tail-end of the trailer, the dragon appears.

This “Pete’s Dragon” is a reimagining of Disney’s classic family film, which follows the adventure of an orphaned boy named Pete and his best friend Elliott, who just so happens to be a dragon.

Try not to confuse this Disney release with April’s “The Jungle Book,” which sees an orphan boy raised in the jungle with the help of a pack of wolves, a bear, and a black panther.
