Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson and the rest of the Barden Bellas beat the boys in 2012 comedy hit “Pitch Perfect,” but they’ll have to beat the world in the sequel.
The first trailer (above) for “Pitch Perfect 2” shows the ladies arriving at the World Championships of A Cappella, where the best from around the globe compete every four years “for world domination.”
“Pitch Perfect 2,” which welcomes Oscar nominee Hailee Steinfeld to the franchise, marks the directorial debut of Elizabeth Banks, who also reprises her role from the original.
Universal is releasing the sequel on May 15, 2015.
