‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Ties Adam Sandler’s ‘Pixels’ for Most Razzie Award Nominations (Video)

“Jupiter Ascending” and “Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2” also scored six nominations each

“Jupiter Ascending,” “Pixels,” “Fifty Shades of Grey” and “Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2” dominated the nominations for the 36th annual Razzie Awards, recognizing massive underachievements in motion picture arts and sciences.

Each film earned six nominations, including the less-than-prestigious Worst Picture of the Year. Josh Trank‘s misfired reboot attempt “Fantastic Four” followed close behind, with five nominations.

Last year’s Oscar winners for Best Actor and Actress, Eddie Redmayne and Julianne Moore, also received Razzie nods this year, Redmayne for his supporting role in “Jupiter Ascending” and Moore for hers in “Seventh Son.”

In addition, the organization behind the awards recognized four performers who have drawn fire (and past Razzie recognition) but who have strayed into more worthwhile territory in 2015.

The nominees for the Razzie Redeemer Award are Elizabeth Banks, a winner for directing “Movie 47,” who directed last year’s “Pitch Perfect 2”; past winner M. Night Shyamalan, for directing “The Visit”; Will Smith, for following “After Earth” with “Concussion” and all-time Razzie champ Sylvester Stallone for his Golden Globe-winning performance in “Creed.”
