Unified roster now includes Golden Globe winner Gina Rodriguez, Grammy winners CeeLo Green, Oscar winner Bobby Moresco and ”Twilight“ actor Peter Facinelli
Primary Wave’s talent management division unveiled details of a merger with Intellectual Artists Management on Monday.
The U.S.-based music marketing, talent management and music publishing company is joining forces with the full-service talent and literary management, media and content production company, under a new banner called Primary Wave Entertainment.
The new company’s combined roster now includes Golden Globe winner Gina Rodriguez (“Jane the Virgin”), Oscar winning screenwriter Bobby Moresco (“Crash”) and Grammy Award winners CeeLo Green, Melissa Etheridge and Cypress Hill. Additional notable talent includes “Twilight” actor Peter Facinelli, BET’s “Being Mary Jane” star Gabrielle Union and “Torn” singer Natalie Imbruglia.
Primary Wave Entertainment will be run by co-CEOs Larry Mestel, CEO/Founder of Primary Wave Music, David Guillod, CEO/Founder of Intellectual, with Mark Burg, CEO/Founder of Evolution, set to serve as Vice Chairman.
“Jeff, Patrick and I are very excited to partner with Larry and his team, which will perfectly position us to become a global entertainment, media, branding and licensing powerhouse. I look forward to our new relationship and our continued aggressive growth in the future,” David Guillod said in a statement.
“I’m proud to be entering into this partnership with David and his amazing team at Intellectual,” added Larry Mestel. “This is truly, an exciting business step for both companies and will give our roster of artists the opportunity to expand their brands across many platforms within the entertainment industry.”
