Producer Katy Leigh Joins M3 Creative

She’s expected to lead company’s expansion of its film business

Katy Leigh, a producer of marketing materials for films including "Up in the Air," has joined multiplatform content production company M3 Creative in its Burbank offices.

She is tasked with expanding M3’s focus on the theatrical, DVD, 3D and internet content portions of its business, M3 Creative president Andy Meyers said in Thursday’s announcement.

M3 Creative, founded in 2004 as M3 Television, has established a strong foothold across all segments of the entertainment industry, including TV networks and TV and film studios. 

“Katy is a proven talent who is widely known throughout the film and home entertainment industries for her excellent, highly creative work,” Meyers said in a statement. “Her addition will allow us to continue to grow and thrive in a rapidly changing entertainment marketplace and as we move into a 3D content creation world.” 

A producer of EPK, theatrical marketing and home entertainment materials for major film studios, Leigh recently created content for Warner Bros.’ upcoming film "Going the Distance." She also produced the theatrical EPK and DVD content for movies including "Sex and the City," "17 Again," "Hairspray," "Fracture" and "Snakes on a Plane." She also produced and directed several episodes of HBO’s "First Look" series for titles including "Hairspray" and "Fracture."

M3 Creative produces all forms of programming and promotion: 30-minute daily shows, reality series, interstitials, promos, music videos, commercial spots, specials, webisodes, mobile content, EPKs, DVD material and more. Its clients include the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, NBC Universal, Paramount, Marvel, Warner Bros., Fox, DreamWorks, Comedy Central, Lifetime and American Express.
