Rachel McAdams Falls for a Time Traveler – Again – in ‘About Time’ Trailer (Video)

The "Time Traveler's Wife" actress stars in another time-travel related romance – this time from "Love Actually" writer and director Richard Curtis

Rachel McAdams is giving romance with a time-traveling stranger a second chance in the first trailer for writer and director Richard Curtis' "About Time."

McAdams, who fell for Australian time traveler Eric Bana in 2009's "The Time Traveler's Wife," falls for an awkward British guy (Domhnall Gleeson, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows") who discovers on his 21st birthday that all the men in his family have the ability to travel through time.

And what better way to exploit his talent than nail down the perfect girlfriend? 

Bill Nighy plays the father who informs his son of their miraculous gift but doesn't seem all that impressed the young man decides to simply chase tail. Then again, he doesn't seem to outline too many other options.

"It's not as dramatic as it sounds," Nighy explains. "You can't kill Hitler or shag Helen of Troy, unfortunately." 

The actress from "The Notebook," it is then! Watch out for the butterfly effect, though:
