Rapper Fetty Wap, who recently won a Viewer’s Choice MTV Video Music Award, was injured in a motorcycle accident on Saturday.
The accident occurred in Fetty’s hometown of Patterson, New Jersey. TMZ reported that the rapper, whose real name is Willie Maxwell, was trying to pass a car and didn’t see another vehicle traveling in the opposite direction, causing a collision.
Fetty was rushed to the hospital and appeared conscious and standing up. At the hospital, he is verbal and alert. Doctors are running tests to see if he fractured any bones.
