Reagan Library Hosting Its 1st Film Festival

Event will showcase films on historical topics from high-school students

The stars are coming out in Simi Valley.

The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum will host its first-ever film festival. The  choice of venue seems fitting given that “The Gipper” was the first movie-star president, but there’s a twist.

The festival will showcase original films by high-school students on historical topics of between three to five minutes in length.

Winning submissions will  be showcased and awarded at the Reagan Library on Dec. 11.
