Just a little research may have saved a journalist some embarrassment and possibly could have landed him a scoop.
Global News reporter Gil Tucker was reporting on new FX series “Fargo” and how it was shooting in Calgary when he approached a man walking by for what should be an average man on the street (MOS) interview — except this man happened to be Bob Odenkirk, one of the stars of the series.

Odenkirk is a pretty good sport with the reporter even after it’s clear that the reporter has no idea who he is.
He does get a little bit of fun in when he uses his “Fargo” accent during the interview, which probably threw the reporter off a bit. No one from L.A. talks like that, right?
