Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer and Kids Face France – and the Mob – in ‘The Family’ Trailer (Video)

"Glee" actress Dianna Agron and John D'Leo also star in the Luc Besson-directed film.

Old habits die hard for Robert De Niro's family in the first trailer for the Luc Besson-directed crime comedy, "The Family."

Even though they're supposed to be keeping a low profile after being relocated to France under the federal witness protection program, De Niro puts a plumber in the hospital, his wife (Michelle Pfeiffer) blows up a supermarket, his daughter (Dianna Agron) beats a teenage male admirer, and his son (John D'Leo) begins a small-scale criminal operation at his school.

Formerly titled "Malavita," the film adaptation of Tonino Benacquista's book "Badfellas" follows the Manzoni crime family as they try to adapt to their new surroundings and avoid being found out by the gangsters who want them dead.

Based on footage shown in the trailer, the family fails horribly at both tasks. Luckily, a CIA agent (Tommy Lee Jones), who is getting tired of finding them "a new place to live every 90 days," is there to help them survive.

Relativity Media is releasing "The Family" in theaters on Sept. 20. Here's the first look:
