Ronda Rousey got a little X-rated during a UFC press conference in Australia.
While trying to say that she would not be as aggressive early in her fight against Holly Holm, her opponent at the upcoming UFC 193, Rousey said, “I knew that if I came in her face right away–oh, that sounded terrible.”
Rousey proceeded to crack up laughing, along with everyone else in attendance. She collected herself before slipping in one more joke. “Not right away. I take my time, OK?”
After a few more laughs, the UFC champion went on to say why she feels she will win the fight. “[Holm] is a 19-time boxing world champion, not an MMA world champion,” she said. “And I believe I’m better than every other girl in every area of MMA.”
Rousey is the current UFC Women’s bantamweight champion and holds a perfect record of 12 wins, 0 losses. To date, she has finished every fight by either knockout or submission.
She has also begun making forays into acting. She played herself in the “Entourage” movie and is in talks to star in the MGM remake of “Road House.”
