You can’t always judge a book by its cover. But if the front of Rose McGowan’s new memoir “Brave” is any indication of what’s inside, it’s gonna be shocking.

On Monday, the actress revealed the cover art for her upcoming autobiography, an “unscripted, courageous, victorious, angry, smart, fierce, unapologetic, controversial, and real as f—,” according to publishing company HarperOne.

Of course, a book packed with that kind of content needs a cover to match and McGowan picked the perfect image to get the job done: a picture of her having her hair shaved off.

McGowan, who has led the recent #MeToo movement among Hollywood women after accusing Harvey Weinstein of sexual misconduct, has rocked many a hairdo in her time in the limelight, but famously shaved off her locks in 2015.

“‘Brave’ is McGowan’s raw, honest, and poignant memoir/manifesto – -a no-holds-barred, pull-no-punches account of the rise of a millennial icon, fearless activist, and unstoppable force for change who is determined to expose the truth about the entertainment industry, dismantle the concept of fame, shine a light on a multibillion-dollar business built on systemic misogyny, and empower people everywhere to wake up and be ‘Brave,’” HarperOne said in a press release.

“My life, as you will read, has taken me from one cult to another, the biggest cult of all: Hollywood,” McGowan added. “‘Brave’ is the story of how I fought my way out of these cults and reclaimed my life. I want to help you do the same.”

McGowan’s book is set for release on January 30.
