The Twitter account belonging to Rose McGowan was placed on temporary suspension Wednesday night for unspecified violations of the social media site’s rules. McGowan announced the move to her followers on Instagram, saying “TWITTER HAS SUSPENDED ME. THERE ARE POWERFUL FORCES AT WORK. BE MY VOICE.”

The actress also posted a screenshot of the suspension notice:

The specific reason for her suspension is not known, but Twitter says it “may suspend an account if it has been reported to us as violating our Rules surrounding abuse. When an account engages in abusive behavior, like sending threats to others or impersonating other accounts, we may suspend it temporarily or, in some cases, permanently.”

McGowan was among the women named last week in an explosive New York Times report detailing three decades of sexual misconduct, by movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, including that she had reached a $100,000 settlement with Weinstein following “an episode in a hotel room during the Sundance Film Festival” in 1997.

She has since been vocal on Twitter, calling out Weinstein, The Weinstein Company, and people known to be friends or associates. On Tuesday, the actress launched a petition to dissolve TWC, and aimed harsh criticism at several people including Ben Affleck, who she told to “f— off” in a tweet that remains on Twitter as of this writing.

In 2016, McGowan said on Twitter that “my ex sold our movie to my rapist for distribution,” a statement widely believed to be about Weinstein.

A number of other women have since come forward to accuse Weinstein of harassment or assault, including actresses Gwyneth Paltrow and Angelina Jolie. A New Yorker report on Tuesday featured the accounts of 13 women, three of whom said they were raped by Weinstein.
