‘Rush Hour’ Series Sets Premiere Date, CBS Shifts ‘Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders’

Network also moves “Elementary” to Sunday nights

CBS has set the premiere date for the “Rush Hour” TV series and moved the premiere date of “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders,” the network announced Friday.

“Rush Hour,” based on the buddy cop films starring Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker, will premiere on March 31 at 10 p.m. ET. The series stars Justin Hires and Jon Foo as Det. Carter and Det. Lee, respectively.

Brett Ratner, who directed all three “Rush Hour” movies, is executive producing along with Bill Lawrence, Blake McCormick, Jeff Ingold, Jon Turteltaub, Arthur Sarkissian, Toby Emmerich and Steve Franks.

In addition, CBS has shifted the premiere date of “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders.” The show will now premiere on March 16 at 10 p.m. ET, instead of on March 2. The show stars Gary Sinise, Alana De La Garza, Daniel Henney, Tyler James Williams and Annie Funke.

Erica Messer created the spinoff and is an executive producer along with Mark Gordon, Nick Pepper and Adam Glass.

Finally, “Elementary” will shift to “CSI: Cyber’s” time slot on Sundays at 10 p.m. ET, beginning March 20. “CSI: Cyber” will move to the temporary time slot of Wednesdays at 10 on March 2 and March 9. It is not known at this time when new episodes of “Cyber” will air following these airings.
