Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool uses his talkative nature once again to tease the upcoming trailer of “Deadpool,” which is set to be released tomorrow.
In the video, the self-dubbed Merc of the Mouth narrates the clip from a leather chair. At first speaking from complete darkness, Deadpool later reveals himself with a clap of his hands.
“In a world, divided by fear, one man must stand alone, against the forces of darkness,” the voice says. “From the studio that inexplicably sewed his f—ing mouth shut the first time, five-time Academy Award-viewer Ryan Reynolds as a man on an eHarmony date with destiny… Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you… Me! Deadpool. So, get ready to blow up your collective sphincters, because my trailer is coming… Tomorrow.”
Reynolds played Deadpool in the 2009 film “X-Men Origins: Wolverine.” Now, the actor reprises the role in “Deadpool,” set to be released on February 12, 2016 by Marvel Enterprises and Twentieth Century Fox.
The film also stars Morena Baccarin, Ed Skrein, T.J. Miller and Brianna Hildebrand. It will be directed by Tim Miller and produced by Simon Kinberg, Reynolds and Lauren Shuler Donner.
