SAG Awards: The Complete List of Nominees

“Game of Thrones,” “Nocturnal Animals” and “Captain America: Civil War” early nominees in stunt category

SAG Awards

The 2017 SAG Awards nominations are in, with some expected front-runners and plenty of indulgence for streaming, cable and network TV fans.

On the film side, there was a nice economy all around for obvious bets like “La La Land” stars Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling in lead acting categories, as well as Mahershala Ali and Naomie Harris of “Moonlight” in supporting.

Also among the supporting ranks were Nicole Kidman and Dev Patel for “Lion,” with Viola Davis picking up a supporting nom for “Fences,” while her leading man Denzel Washington scored one in the lead actor race.

Matt Ross’ Sundance darling “Captain Fantastic” continues to surprise, with a lead actor nomination for star Viggo Mortensen and an ensemble nod for the cast at large.

“Captain” is joined by “Fences,” “Hidden Figures,” “Manchester by the Sea” and “Moonlight” for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Motion Picture.

Read on for fan favorites like “Stranger Things,” “Black Mirror,” “The Crown,” and multiple Marvel-Netflix series in the TV nominations.

Actress Sophia Bush, Common and SAG-AFTRA president Gabrielle Carteris revealed nominees in multiple categories live from West Hollywood’s Pacific Design Center.

The 2017 SAG Awards will air live from Los Angeles on Jan. 29 on TNT.
