United Talent Agency has hired Sarah Early as an agent in its digital media department, the agency announced Tuesday.

At UTA, Early will identify and represent digital influencers, platforms and brands and provide guidance for agency clients in the digital space.

Early joins UTA from ICM Partners, where she was an agent in their global branded entertainment and digital strategy division. Prior to ICM, Early worked as the digital and cross-platform integrations producer for Telepictures Productions, where she integrated corporate brands into content and developed on-air and digital branded entertainment for shows including “Anderson Live,” “Extra” and “Dr. Drew’s Lifechangers.”

“We are excited to add Sarah’s talent agency and media company experience and perspective to our rapidly growing digital media practices,” UTA partner and head of digital media Brent Weinstein said.

UTA’s digital media practice was formed in 2003 and currently has 13 agents and executives operating across its online entertainment, social media, corporate advisory and venture capital practices, in addition to its sister practice — the market-leading video games division headed by Ophir Lupu.

Early joins UTA amidst significant expansion by the agency, which recently acquired The Agency Group, the world’s largest independent music agency. UTA also hired a number of high-profile agents across a variety of practice areas earlier this year.
