Sean Combs, NFL Star Arian Foster Join Kevin Costner in ‘Draft Day’

Ivan Reitman's football movie co-stars Jennifer Garner and Denis Leary

Buried in the middle of Summit Entertainment and OddLot Entertainment's announcement regarding the start of production on Ivan Reitman's "Draft Day" is the news that Sean Combs has joined the athletic ensemble along with Houston Texans running back Arian Foster.

"Draft Day," which stars Kevin Costner as the GM of the Cleveland Browns, will also feature NFL players Demario Davis, James Brewer, Ramses Barden, Zoltan Mesko and Stephen Hill, as well as NFL and ESPN on-air talent Jon Gruden, Mike Mayock, Deion Sanders, Rich Eisen, Mel Kiper and Chris Berman.

Previously announced cast members include Jennifer Garner, Denis Leary, Ellen Burstyn, Frank Langella, Chadwick Boseman, Terry Crews and Josh Pence, while notable newcomers include Rosanna Arquette, Chi McBride, W. Earl Brown, Brad Henke, Kevin Dunn, Pat Healy and Wallace Langham.

Combs, who also goes by Diddy and Puff Daddy, will play a character named 'Chris Crawford,' though there's no indication of whether he's an NFL owner, a player, a coach, etc. The music mogul previously co-starred in Jon Favreau's comedy "Made" and stole several scenes from Russell Brand and Jonah Hill in Nicholas Stoller's Universal comedy "Get Him to the Greek."

He's repped by CAA and LBI Entertainment.
