Hannity Asks Laura Ingraham: ‘Do You Have to Get in Trouble Every Week?’ (Video)

Ingraham fires right back with a crack about Hannity’s “virility and testosterone”

Sean Hannity engaged in some joking with his colleague Laura Ingraham on Fox News Monday evening, asking her directly whether she planned to stop causing a firestorm of backlash every moment she’s on air.

“Are you going to get in trouble every week on the air?” Hannity asked. “Do you have to get in trouble every week?”

Ingraham fired right back, taking a jab at Hannity’s pink tie, jokingly saying that it was clearly evidence of his powerful sexual energy.

“Only a man that’s really filled with virility and testosterone can pull that one off Hannity,” she said. “That salmon color is looking really good.”

The two often banter together during the show toss and occasionally make news with their tongue-and-cheek references to current events.

Unfortunately for Ingraham, those current events have, lately, been dizzyingly negative coverage about her.

Last week the Fox News primetime host stepped into a hornets nest after criticizing “demographic changes” coming to the United States as a result of both legal and illegal immigration.

“In some parts of the country, it does seem like the America that we know and love doesn’t exist anymore. Massive demographic changes have been foisted upon the American people, and they are changes that none of us ever voted for, and most of us don’t like,” said Ingraham.

“From Virginia to California, we see stark examples of how radically, in some ways, the country’s changed,” she added. “Much of this is related to both illegal and — in some cases — legal immigration that, of course, progressives love.”

Critics immediately pounced on the line, accusing her of racism. She clarified on her subsequent broadcast that she wasn’t talking about any specific race.

The Hannity barb may have been a bit of revenge joke after Ingraham made fun of the media coverage that occurred after news emerged Hannity had secretly been a client of Trump fixer Michael Cohen.

“You’re like my brother, but I’m glad for like a millisecond the heat is off me and on you,” she said back in April.
