Broadcasting from Las Vegas, Sean Hannity pointed his customary fire and fury at liberals, this time targeting Hollywood celebrities and certain late night comedy hosts for what he said was their rush to “politicize” the Las Vegas massacre and use it as a tool to advance gun control.
“You have celebrities taking to Twitter. They make their cheap political points,” said Hannity. “Lady Gaga, oh the great political philosopher,” he sneered before mocking this pro gun control tweet she posted on Monday.
Prayers are important but @SpeakerRyan @realDonaldTrump blood is on the hands of those who have power to legislate. #GunControl act quickly. https://t.co/bXZQ7enuEp

“Hey Lady Gaga, where were you when all the violence in Chicago was happening.”
In addition to Gaga, Hannity also took shots at Lena Dunham, Gigi Hadid, Sophia Bush and Alyssa Milano — also reading their tweets on-air.
“Within literally hours, the left politicizing this event before any facts were known,” Hannity raged. In addition to Gaga and Dunham’s alleged Twitter transgressions, Hannity took out his knives, for Stephen Colbert, Trevor Noah and Jimmy Kimmel, playing footage of their emotional shows in the immediate aftermath of the shooting.
“This is beyond shameful, making political statements, calling for things like gun control less than 24 hours after something like this happens,” Hannity chided. “While people are grieving, while victims are still in the hospital.”
Indeed, as The Wrap previously reported, in the immediate aftermath of the Las Vegas massacre, celebrities reacted with an outpouring of grief, with many calling for action on gun control.
