Sean Hannity Slams Mainstream Media: ‘You Have Been Exposed for the Liars You Are’ (Video)

“The media has been endlessly, breathlessly lying to you night after night, day after day,” Fox News host says

Fox News’ Sean Hannity ripped the mainstream media as “idiots” who have been have been “flat-out wrong” when constantly trying to tie President Donald Trump’s campaign to Russia, saying “it’s over, you have been exposed for the liars you are.”

“After so many months, about 10 months, of endlessly pushing back of these black helicopter, tin-foil hat conspiracy theories, what did we learn today? That there is no such thing as a Trump, Russia collusion,” Hannity said. “The media has been endlessly, breathlessly lying to you night after night, day after day. They even had to admit it.”

Hannity has a longstanding beef with MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough, but he was happy to play footage of MSNBC host Chris Matthews explaining that the Russian collusion theory came apart after fired FBI director James Comey’s testimony Thursday before the Senate Intelligence Committee.

“Ah, moment of enlightenment, even for Chris Matthews. It all came apart today,” Hannity said. “We were the only ones in the media who cared about looking in to this deeply and telling you, the American people, the truth and not going with lies.”

The Fox News host said the media members trying to tie Trump to Russia are the same people who colluded with Hillary Clinton in the last election, saying they were “exposed” by WikiLeaks.

“We have been right, night after night after night. These idiots, in the media, almost all of them, have been flat-out wrong,” Hannity said. “It’s time for those so-called journalists with this superior attitude, maybe they should take off their tin foil hats and put their black helicopters back in the hangers because it’s over.”

Hannity concluded the segment by saying they have been exposed for the liars you are to the American people.

“It’s sad,” he said, echoing one of the president’s favorite words.
