“Big Little Lies” star Shailene Woodley told an E! reporter on the Emmys red carpet that she’s more of a “reader” and doesn’t really watch television.
Being a television star, it’s quite surprising but Woodley admits that she hasn’t had one in 6 years.
“I haven’t had a TV since I’ve moved out of my parents house at 18,” she said at the 69th annual 69th Primetime Emmy Awards red carpet.

The “Divergent” star also may have admitted that she’s homeless.
“I technically don’t have a home anywhere so I suppose there’s no TV to put in that home,” the 25-year-old actress added.
She added that she doesn’t understand how people have the time to watch television.

As soon as Twitter got hold of Woodley’s comments, the criticisms rolled in with some people likening her to the “annoying girl” in class and others simply calling her “smug.”
“Shailene Woodley asking who has time to watch TV is that annoying girl who reminds the teacher to collect the homework at the end of class,” tweeted one user.
“Why can’t people who don’t have a TV ever say they don’t have a TV w/out being so fcking smug about not having a TV, Shailene Woodley?” asked another Twitter user.
