‘Ray Donovan’ Season 2 Trailer: A Fractured Family, and Multiple Head Traumas Ensue (Video)

It’s a violent and dark season of the Showtime series returning in July

Showtime’s “Ray Donovan” has released a trailer for Season 2 which will premiere Sunday, July 13 at 9/8c.

Liev Schrieber plays Ray Donovan, LA’s best professional fixer who gets paid to make celebrities, athletes, and top businessmen’s problems disappear.

Season 1 ended with an epic showdown that ended in Boston mobster and fugitive Sully’s (James Woods) death.

The unsettled questions following Sully’s murder unravel throughout the season as the remaining characters explore the fallout and Ray continues to spiral out of control. Donovan’s father (Jon Voight) appears to have gone into hiding and Ray must try to balance the demands of his family with those of his Hollywood clients.

This season, Elliott Gould will return as a special guest star. He’s joined by Hank Azaria, Ann-Margret, Wendell Pierce, Sherilyn Fenn, Vinessa Shaw, Brian Geraghty, Heather McComb and Kip Pardue.
