Way to wrap yourself in the flag, Sofia Vergara.
“Modern Family” star Vergara offered a glimpse of what’s to come when the ABC sitcom returns for a 10th season on Sept. 26.
The behind-the-scenes look, posted to Vergara’s Instagram account Thursday, offered fans of the series plenty to stand up and salute over, depicting Vergara in an American flag-patterned shirt and holding a cap emblazoned with the Stars and Stripes.
“Ready to shoot,” Vergara wrote, adding the hashtags, “#modenfamily” [sic],”#gloriapritchett” and “#setlife.”
The scene surrounding Vergara suggested a festive setting, with poles and trees wrapped in ribbons.
The upcoming season of “Modern Family” will apparently be a very patriotic one for Vergara’s Gloria Pritchett character. On Wednesday, Vergara posted a photo of herself with a cowboy hat styled after the American flag perched on her head, as well as the American flag-styled shirt.
“Gloria Pritchett is readyyy!” Vergara wrote at the time. “First episode of season 10!”
That’s one way to make America great again.
