‘Sopranos’ Actress Denise Borino-Quinn Dies at 46

Discovered at an open casting call of 14,000 hopefuls, a mob boss’ wife was her only role

“Sopranos” actress Denise Borino-Quinn, who played mob boss Johnny Sack’s wife Ginny Sacramoni, died of cancer Wednesday in New Jersey.

Borino-Quinn, who got the part at an open casting call of 14,000 actresses, was a legal secretary and part-time manicurist in New Jersey. When not acting, she worked at a New Brunswick law firm.

“The Sopranos” was her only role, according to IMDB.

She was the widow of Luke Quinn, who she married in 2005. She is survived by two brothers, Vincent and Chris Borino.

A funeral mass was held for her on Saturday.
