Incoming CBS late-night host Colbert launched the new website for “Late Show With Stephen Colbert” on Wednesday by, among other things, shaving off the unruly whiskers that have grown on his face in the months since he vacated Comedy Central’s “The Colbert Report.”
While Colbert shears himself to clean-shaven status, the hotdog he’d been eating accumulates the facial hair, until it takes on an unsettling, Grizzly Adams-like appearance.
Gotta give Colbert credit: He doesn’t even start his new gig for three more months, and already he’s accomplished the impossible by somehow making hotdogs even more unappetizing.
