Steven Spielberg’s ‘War Horse’ Trailer Is a Whinnying Effort (Video)

Will viewers go to theaters to see a movie about a man and his horse?

Steven Spielberg isn't horsing around with his upcoming big-screen offering. Or wait; maybe he is.

The "E.T." director's historical drama "War Horse," which chronicles the tale of a young man ("Life Bites" actor Jeremy Irvine) whose relationship with his horse (uncredited) suffers when he joins the cavalry in World War I, hits theaters on December 28. Interestingly, the picture will pit Spielberg against himself at the box office, as his "The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn" will be arriving in theaters on December 23.

Which Spielberg offering will win out this holiday season? Only time will tell. But before then, check out the "War Horse" trailer in the video and share your thoughts in the comments section: Will the movie earn a yay, or neigh?
