‘Stranger Things 4’ Teaser Introduces the Creel House (Video)

Netflix series returns in 2022

We still don’t know exactly when “Stranger Things” returns for its long (and boy, do we mean long) awaited fourth season, but Netflix showed off another teaser on Saturday that introduces the Creel House.

While not much is known about the fourth season, horror legend Robert Englund is joining the cast as Victor Creel, a patient imprisoned at Pennhurst Mental Hospital for a gruesome murder he committed in the 1950s. The brief clip teases a younger Creel with his family, before flashing forward to the present day to see the kids investigating the spooky house.

Created by brothers Matt and Ross Duffer, “Stranger Things” stars Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Sadie Sink, Maya Hawke and Priah Ferguson.

Previously announced new cast members for “Stranger Things 4” include Jamie Campbell Bower, Eduardo Franco and Joseph Quinn, who are all series regulars, as well as Englund, Tom Wlaschiha, Sherman Augustus, Mason Dye, Nikola Djuricko, who are recurring cast members.

As always, plot details for Season 4 of the Duffer Brothers series are being kept under wraps, but Matarazzo told “The Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon back in April that the new season will be the show’s scariest to date. “I was reading it and I’m like, ‘Ah, they’re going for it this year. That’s pretty cool.’ So I don’t know if the toddlers are going to enjoy it as much this time going around,” he said at the time.

The series will return sometime in 2022. It last aired in July of 2019.
